- Can you speak, write and understand spoken English well?
Yes i can speak, write and understand spoken English very well.

- Why have you chosen to apply at Seven Sins? What do you think about us?
I visit WorldofWarcraft forums a lot and since i am seeking for a new guild i saw Seven Sins topic there. I have been looking on this site for the last week and in my opinion this guild looks very interesting to me. I am looking for a guild with mature members that are mostly over 20 years of age and i saw the average age in here is 26.

- What are your personal character goals in the game, and do you intend to play long term beyond this current expansion?
I am a person that wants to raid with other people who know what to do and what they want and how deep that adventure goes is not an issue for me cause i have no intention to stop playing WorldofWarcraft in the next years.

- Guild History, what guilds you have been in, and why you left? If you moved realms, what were your reasons for leaving that server?
I have been in Orion on Nagrand and they disbanned after a while due to inactivity in summerperiod.
Then Havoc on Nagrand but they disbanned after a while.
Then i moved to Argent dawn server to join Everdark where an in real life friend of my also was, but disbanned also.
Then i moved to Draenor realm to join Zelandoii but they wer focusing on 10 man raids after a while so i left them cause i wanted 25 man raiding and not 10.
Then i went back to nagrand to join The Covenant but in the top ranks their wer a lot of struggling and we stopped raiding so i decided to leave them.
At the moment i am in The Pure on Nagrand and i dont feel happy with the guild structure which i am in, i am an officer atm in that guild but the only 1 active atm since a lot of other officers tend to stop playing WorldofWarcraft.

- Raid Experience? What have you accomplished in the past, both pre-Tbc and Tbc (please state progression after the October 30% health nerf) and in current WotLK content? What characters/class was this experience on?
I started playing in 08 -2005
I have played in Classic on my tauren warrior and did :
Zul-gurub - Blackwing Lair - AQ 40 .
I have played in The Burning Crusade on my priest and did:
Karazhan - Gruul's Lair - Maghteridon's Lair - Tempest Keep and Serpent Shrine Cavern but not the lady - Black Temple but not Illidan - tried Sunwell plateau but the expansion was coming so didnt down boss.
Now in Wrath of the Lich King i did on my priest :
Naxx 10/25 clear
Obsisdian Sanctum 10/25 + 2 drakes
Eye of Eternity 10/25 clear
Ulduar 10 : 12/14 Ulduar 25: 9/14


- Are you willing to put the time in to farm money for repair costs and consumables, whatever it takes to get the job done?
I am always succesfull in making money with my proffesions by using the auction house so gold is not an issue for me.

- When not raiding what do you do in WoW, and will it affect your raid attendance and ability to have the optimum amount of consumables?
When i dont raid i am always up to do heroics or filling up my bank with stuff i need for raids, i am also a very social person wich is always in for a chat.

- Confirm the stability of your ISP connection and pc? Do you have many disconnections, and if so do you have any maintenance planned?
I have a 20MB internetline and hardly disconnect at all

- Do you have full control over your internet and your play time?
I am the only who uses my computer and have full control over my playing time.

- Can you attend all of the current scheduled raid days, and be on time? Also, does this extend through the summer period? (Please state days you feel that you may not be able to attend, the more honest you are now, the easier it is for us to make a decision).
The raiding times of Seven Sins fit me perfectly :20.00 - 23.00 and during summer i am also active but when i go on holiday i will always notify the guild when i leave and come back threw a topic on the forum.

- Are you planning on taking any breaks in the foreseeable future?
I have no intention to take a break in the furture from WorlfofWarcraft.

- We officially finish raids at 11:00 Game time, are you ok if we extend time after raid end if a boss kill looks inevitable?
I can extend my raiding time if we can kill a boss in the next tries.

- Do you consider yourself a skilled player? Do you have a good sense of awareness, an ability to learn quickly and the co-ordination to multitask in tough encounters as a player? Are you able to provide a WWS report (not mandatory, but it will increase the success of your application)?
Since i start playing WorldofWarcraft in 08-2005 i have learned a lot of the game and i can say i am very skilled, also wiping on a boss encounter shows me that i have to push harder to succeed.I dont have a WWS report to show you.

- Do you know/ have played with anyone in the guild? If so please state there name(s) and when (this again also, increases the success of your application).
Since i never been on this realm or seen anyone in this guild i dont know anyone here in Seven Sins.

- Do you have a good sense of humour, and an ability to appreciate the diversity that comes with raiding with people from all over the world (different cultures view things differently and therefore present themselves in an array of varied manners that may be different to what you have become accustomed too)?
I have a good sense of humor which in my opinion is need ingame as well as in real life to keep on going whatever i do.

- Can you take criticism well as long as its constructive? If you were the sole reason we wiped on an encounter, would you be able to own up and learn from your mistakes?
Criticism is not an attack in my view on a person but a helpfull message to show a person what he did wrong.

- What do you think of our guild Philosophy? Do you agree 100% with the aim and direction of the guild, and what we are all about?
I have been reading the the whole topic about Philosophy and i agree 100% with the guild's Philosophy.

Your character
Equally as important as the above, your character is your online representation of yourself, and your main tool in progressing through the world of Warcraft.

- Name and class of your main character. Why did you choose this class as your main?
My character : Zista -- holy/disc priest.
Since i played WorldofWarcraft as a warrior in classic i was always interested in playing priest so i decided to make a healing class and here i am as priest.

- Do you have any alts worth mentioning?
I play my main priest only and dont have any alts that are worth mentioning here.

- What in your own opinion are the good and bad points of your class?
I love playing my class as priest since the start of TheBurningCrusade and i never disliked it so far so i dont see any bad points .
The good things i like is that we can do so may things as priest like being shadow and dps or heal in holy or disc, and in my opinion we are one of the best AOE healing classes ingame.

- With the ever changing environment of WoW, do you use any sites to keep you up-to-date with the latest developments of your class?
I keep myself uptodate with visiting websites like :

- What rotation do you use in general? Does this differ on boss fights? (This applies more to dps classes, but we are always intrigued to see how healers answer this one).
As holy/disc priest i really dont have a rotation which i can state here. As tank healer i use POM + renew and than spam flash heal till new runs out and POM + renew + flash heal again and use binding heal to keep also myself up. As raid healer i help tank healers by keeping the renew up and shield the melee + POM and use Prayer of healing and Circle of healing to keep the range dps + healers up.


- Can you provide a print-screen of your UI, preferably in a raid environment.

This is in 10 man raid but in 25 i use Grid.
I play on a 32 inch widescreen LCD screen and have a very good view of what is happening in a battle.

- What add-ons do you use to enable you to play your class better?
My addons which i use for my class :
Grid / Decursive / Omen / Recount / Ora / Domino's

- If your class is a Hybrid, are you able to play the alternative specs to a good degree of skill? If you do have any Hybrid off-spec gear, what level is it? Its a huge plus for us, especially with the dual Specialisation ability, that people are able to play an off spec well if needed in our raids.
At the moment i am Holy/disc specced and most of my gear is level 213/219/226.
I can specc shadow also but i have limited gear for that to do perform as dps in Ulduar.

- What professions does your character have, and why did you choose these? (main and sub professions)
I choose Jewelcrafting and Alchemy as my professions, the reason why i did this is : Jewelcrafting gives me 3 unique eqquiped gems which provides me more stats than any other gem and with this profession i can make epic gems / necklaces and rings for myself and other guildmembers who are in need for it.
I choose Alchemy because i can make my own elixirs/potions and flasks and i can provide those to my guildmembers when needed.

Hello there and thankyou for taking the time to apply to our guild. Your application is well written, and alot of effort has gone into its presentation which is only a good thing. Your experience is only a few bosses short of that of our own, and your gear level is again very close to where we are progress wise.

Currently our priest team leader and myself are out of town until Wednesday meaning that we dont feel able to make a informed decision before then.

Everything does look very clean and clear, with the availability of a priest spot being open, it all looks very promising. We will be in contact with you in the next few days.

Dear Zista,

I've crefully looked at your Gems, your enchants, your gear, and your Application.

First the good news.
Disc build is perfect, including glyphs.
Raid experience is awesome, and you've been around longer then I have in wow.

Now the downs.
You glyphed PWS in Holy talent. Nice to see we have a priest that understands how valuable that spell is. Its saved so many of my raiders from death when I throw that on em. But as a Holy spec you're responsibity will 90% of the time be the raid, and GS.
So I would think those glyphs to be CoH, PoH, and GS. (once again, your disc glyps are flawless) Unless you feel your more reliable with your current ones, but please explain why that is then.
You put 3/3 improved healing, would you go OOM without those? if so how come?
Finally, do you use Flash heal that much in Holy spec that you would need it. In your rotation you said
POM+renew --> Flash heal spam.
Do you use the five second rule?
I would only do POM - Renew- Flash heal3x --> Keep POM and renew on tank, and use the 5 second rule, only accasionally Flash healing to keep Serendipity up.
I think as a priest you need to trust your pala's Shammy' and druids to keep the tank up mainly, and make sure you have the mana to burn during aoe Gimics (and yes our Tank healers are good enough not to need the priests on em).

Only reason I can see for spamming flash heal is to ninja heals of the tank and insta healers, to beat them on the Healing meters, which for me is a NONO.

Last thing.
You've specced a LOT of intellect and not that much spirit.
I see this more and more among priests, its almost like a fashion that started with a priest from (i think it was Ensidia) saying "the more mana the better for replenishmnet"

I disagree 100% because
1. You are assuming that you wil ALWAYS have the perfect replenishment set-up (you wont)
2. You are assuming that everyone is in top form, and al are alive and well to keep generating that Replenishment (not going t happen, because 95% of raiding is progression and during progression people die. nerfing your Replenishment)

You also have Gear with mp5 which does NOT stack with kings unlike spirit. Mp5 also does not generate spellpower, spirit does.
Is there a reason you chose mp5 gear, or have you just not been lucky enough to get spirit gear?
My mana regen = 1290 in raids, with 820mp5 fully buffed
Even with al the shadow priests, hunters and pala's dead, I can still heal a long time before ooming. I want the same from the other priests, but maybe you know something I dont... You've been here since vanilla wow and raided in 40 Man environment, so please tell me a little more about your choice in build

I will answer your questions like you stated here above.
1 :I glyphed Power word shield cause in most of the raids i been in guilds i have been healing the raid and i know how valuable power word shield is and i also saw it saves a lot of raidmembers, but if you want me to glyph CoH i am willing to do that.

2 :3/3 improved healing -- i dont go OOM without those but i put it there cause i was in raids a lot with people that in my opinion do to less healing.

3 : spam heal -- maybe i had to put it in different words in my application but i know the 5 seconds rule but i didnt wanted to write : POM + renew -- flash heal - flash heal - flash heal so i putted it as spam heal .

4: i did stack a lot of intellect and i know that but its also balanced with my darkmoon card - greatness.
When i am fully buffed i got more spirit than intellect so i will benefit from the increase spirit by 300 for 15 seconds and in my opinion mana regeneration is more important than having a large amount of mana.

5 : spirit gear -- i am not a person that freaks out in raid because an item dropped that i really want , i passed a lot of items that i could use to rise my spirit to other raidmembers who needed it more, some people may think different than me but i think loot is good for progression as guild not to gear only yourself.

Hello Akillas i wanna withdraw my application.
I am at the moment in Galathea with a in reallife friend of my as guildmaster.
We are raiding a lot at the moment in Ulduar 25 and trial of the Crusader 25/10. I feel pretty good in here as officer.

Seven Sins also has 8 priests and i know all guilds rotate raiders but i got priority spot in here.

I wanna thank you all for putting time in my application and wish you good luck in raiding, especially Kyal for learning me something in his replies even though he hasnt been around as long as i do.
